  12. Dear experts,

  14. I have installed xdvik on my SUN OS Release 4.1.3. Everything
  15. compiled quite easily, previewing works including the rendering
  16. of postscript pictures but:

  18. it does not call MakeTeXPK when a font is missing.
  19.  
  20. I added -DMAKETEXPK in DEFS and also tried +maketexpk as a command
  21. line option. Neither one called MakeTeXPK. The MakeTeXPK is in my
  22. path and in the same directory as the xdvi executable. 
  23.  
  24. What stupid oversight of mine is causing this problem. 
  25. Before I forget I am of course installing version 1.8 
  26. straight from the  CTAN archives.
